One Mile Beach is an extremely popular visitor spot, for obvious reasons. At Bennet’s Head lookout, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the area, Giant Sandhill is a popular spot for sand sliding and boarding, and there’s a stretch of white sand where dolphins can be seen through the crystal clear water. The beach is also bordered by a large park where you can make use of a barbecue, picnic facilities, and playground equipment. It’s patrolled during the holidays and weekends.
